This is a Carhartt 2500 Utility Jacket in classic olive, made for the Japanese market in the 1990s when the demand for authentic American workwear was huge. It's the kind of rugged layering piece that only gets better with time. It has a heavyweight cotton shell with a soft fleecy lining that keeps things toasty without bulk. It features snap and zipper front closure, four roomy front pockets, storm-cuff sleeves with snap closures, and an inside drawstring waist for that perfect adjustable fit. This jacket originally had a detachable hood (now missing), which gives it a clean collar profile. Tagged size large, however it's more like a men's small. It's in great vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and character.  Modeled on a female sized medium/8-10, but this jacket is unisex.  We love this jacket and want to keep it for ourselves but, alas, we want someone new to enjoy it!
